SoliTek Solrif D B.108 Dummy – Dummy module for Solrif in-roof systems
The SoliTek Solrif D B.108 dummy or blank module is the ideal addition for a visually seamless and technically clean roof design in the Solrif® in-roof system. It is an inactive module that is visually matched exactly to the active PV modules and is used where electricity generation is not possible or necessary – for example, at roof edges, hipped roofs, dormers, chimneys or skylights.
Function & Applications
The dummy module is supplied in standard dimensions and can be easily cut to size directly on site. This allows roof edges, valleys, penetrations or other special connections to be resolved efficiently and in a standardised manner. Thanks to its black surface (RAL 9004), the module blends in perfectly with the overall roof and ensures a high-quality, uniform appearance.

Recommendations for installation
- Cutting: To avoid scratches, the module should be cut on the rear side (unpainted side).
- Water drainage: Water drainage must be ensured beneath the blind module using foil or sheet metal; additional measures to improve rainproofing may be necessary.
- Electrical connection: All metal parts must be electrically connected. It is recommended that the frame be connected to the panel (e.g. by screwing). Other solutions are possible provided they are permanent and secure.
